What's up! Thanks for checking out my blog! It's something I've been wanting to do for awhile, and now that I've finally done it, I hope you enjoy some of the content and thoughts you find here. Let me start by first telling you a little bit about myself.
Growing up, I was a sports-a-holic, playing tennis, basketball, softball, soccer, and was on swim team. I narrowed it down to soccer and softball in high school and college, until I broke my leg and tore ligaments in my shoulder in college that derailed my plans a bit. It sucked having so many injuries and surgeries, but in some ways I'm grateful for the journey it lead me on and for how much it taught me about myself. I realized in those moment of adversity how much of life and sport is mental. Those experiences ultimately led me down the path I'm on today as a Mental Performance Consultant.
Living an active lifestyle and being athletic is a big part of who I am and what I love. The challenges they present allow me to test my limits mentally and physically all the time. I use mental skills myself just as much as I teach them!
Today, as a Mental Performance Consultant, I have the privilege of mentoring many athletes, teams, coaches, parents, and non-sport performers on their journey with enhancing mental performance. I believe mental skills are a crucial part of life. My goals as a practitioner are to use my passion to provide clients with tips and tools that they can learn, master, and apply to their endeavors to be the best they can in that moment.
